Olawumi Okunade, MPH
Olawumi, MPH, is a public health professional and social justice advocate. Her experience spans diverse sectors, including hospitals, victim assistance programs, adult and children’s behavioral health, as well as communities experiencing social and resource disconnection. Notably, she has a strong commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working to address their unique health needs and promote inclusion. Through community collaboration, curriculum development, consulting and life coaching, Olawumi identifies and implements strategies to mitigate health disparities, ensuring equitable access to care. Her work is driven by a passion for creating a more inclusive and healthier world, with a particular focus on the well-being of marginalized communities.
